Step into a rewarding contract opportunity near Acworth, GA, supporting elementary-aged students as an Occupational Therapist. This full-time maternity leave position covers an assignment from November 2nd through January 29th, with the potential for extension through February 26th. You'll be working across two elementary schools and providing services to one private school student, allowing you to make a significant impact within the local community.

What we’re seeking:

• Active Occupational Therapy license for Georgia
• Prior experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple sites
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic environment
• Timely completion of required documentation

Role responsibilities include:

• Delivering OT services to K-5 students as outlined in IEPs or as otherwise referred
• Assessment, evaluation, and implementation of individualized treatment plans
• Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student outcomes
• Maintaining accurate records and session notes in accordance with district protocols
• Traveling between assigned school locations as scheduled
• Contributing to IEP meetings as needed and advising on necessary accommodations or classroom modifications
