As a Security Officer Entry Authorization Driver in Seadrift TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors contractors and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures security-related policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points verify identification and authorization issue visitor credentials and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Screen vehicles deliveries and contractors entering the chemical and petrochemical location in accordance with established procedures and access restrictions.
• Respond to access-control alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points buildings parking areas and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
