A Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a 13-week assignment at a healthcare facility in Lewisville, TX. This role involves providing post-surgical recovery care in a day surgery setting, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with clinical standards.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Location: Lewisville, TX
• Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license in Texas, ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications; 2+ years of day surgery experience, familiarity with Meditech documentation system, experience with adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience specifically within day surgery, advanced skills, and certification in specialty areas as listed.
• Responsibilities: Prepare patients for surgery, monitor recovery, manage post-anesthesia care, ensure patient comfort, and adhere to unit protocols.
• Schedule: Shift hours are 10 hours per day, working days as scheduled, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Float rotation may be required. Candidates must demonstrate a great smiling personality and experience with medical/surgical services, cardiovascular services, oncology, orthopedics, neuroscience, and bariatric care.
• Submission of current certifications and licensure is required to process the application.
