VACANCY : The Valley View Public School District is seeking an individual to fill a full-time Early Childhood Special Education teaching position for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
JOB SUMMARY : The teacher is responsible to the Building Principal for: planning instructional lessons that meet the needs, interests and abilities of multiply disabled preschoolers with a wide range of needs and abilities; creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning; and employing effective instructional techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Salary is in accordance with the teacher salary schedule. Benefits:

JOB SUMMARY : The teacher is responsible to the Building Principal for: planning instructional lessons that meet the needs, interests and abilities of multiply disabled preschoolers with a wide range of needs and abilities; creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning; and employing effective instructional techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Current Illinois (PEL) Professional Educator Licensure with Early Childhood endorsement and Early Childhood Special Education Approval
- ESL endorsement required
- Satisfactory special education teaching experience
- Knowledge of Work Sampling and Creative Curriculum preferred
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice and the Illinois Early Learning Standard
- Knowledge of current teaching techniques of children with disabilities
- Ability to write and implement Individual Educational Plans (IEP's)
- Ability to provide help in modifying instructional materials for students assigned
- Excellent communication skills with students, teachers, and parents
