Overview:

StaffBuffalo is working with a company to hire a Customer Service Manager, offering $75,000–$85,000 annually plus bonus. This opportunity is suited to a customer service professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships, improving processes, and delivering consistent service.

In this role, you will oversee accurate order processing and responsive customer communications, serve as the escalation point for complex service and delivery concerns, and coordinate resolutions with dispatch, operations, billing, and other teams.

You will also monitor customer activity and service performance, document and improve procedures, maintain accurate customer information, and support RFPs, bids, and contract renewals. Responsibilities:

• Oversee responsive customer service, accurate customer order processing, daily priorities, customer communications, and timely follow-up.

• Resolve complex customer concerns and delivery issues with dispatch, operations, billing, and other teams while minimizing disruption.

• Build customer relationships, monitor customer activity and feedback, and identify trends affecting satisfaction and retention.

• Develop, document, maintain, and apply service standards for order entry, communications, escalations, and follow-up; keep product, service, and systems knowledge current.

• Review service results and operational issues; establish and track goals, performance measures, and action plans; report recurring concerns and implement improvements with leadership.

• Maintain accurate customer records covering delivery schedules, usage, pricing agreements, and order volumes; monitor activity and communicate changes internally.
• Support accurate and timely RFP and bid responses; track contract renewals and bid deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service, account support, or related experience, with the ability to work independently.

• Strong customer communication, relationship-building, and professional problem-solving skills, including escalated concern resolution.

• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and independent prioritization in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with customer or order management systems.

• Experience creating, documenting, evaluating, and improving customer service processes for quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience coordinating customer orders, service delivery, and operational requests preferred.
