Primary Care Clinic - Patient Registration PRN as needed

Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, or "CRMC", is a 25-bed, non-profit, critical access hospital serving Southeast Kansas and Northeast Oklahoma since 1949. Patient Registration Clerk coordinates the daily administration of the department.

JOB DUTIES:

• Provide administrative and clerical support to the department
• Maintain records, logs and databases
• Assure proper stock and inventory of department
• Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Regulations

Patient Registration Clerk assumes other responsibilities as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Analytical ability to apply criteria and evaluate information to make decisions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills in teaming with patients, medical staff and the public
• Detail oriented with proven ability to multitask
• Skill in greeting patients and answering the telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; familiar with electronic medical health care record systems
  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• H.S. Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent work experience in field, required
• BLS, preferred
