About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a strategic and trusted advisor, overseeing the financial health and sustainability of the institution. The CFO will be responsible for a wide range of financial functions, including budget planning, forecasting, endowment management, accounting, cash management, grant administration, and compliance. This role requires a leader who can effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including the President, senior leadership team, trustees, faculty, staff, and external partners. The successful candidate will be a transparent and engaging leader, providing strategic financial leadership and oversight to support the institution's mission and long-term success. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a proven track record in financial management, with experience in areas such as debt management, banking relationships, risk management, and auxiliary business operations. The role also involves providing the President and Board of Trustees with accurate financial information, forecasting, and analysis to support decision-making and long-range planning. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader, capable of managing high-performing finance and operational teams, and will chair the College Faculty Fiscal Affairs Committee. A strong educational background and a commitment to the values of the institution, particularly in the education and advancement of girls and women, are essential.
