HR Generalist

Position SummaryThe HR Generalist serves as a key contributor to the overall success of human resources operations, with responsibilities spanning employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits administration, compliance, payroll and HR systems. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who is ready to take on a broader scope of responsibility and provide direct support to both employees and management.This position is in-person, based at RedCat facility in Salt Lake, City Utah.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGeneral HR OperationsAssist with the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience aligned with company culture and compliance standards.Respond to and resolve employee inquiries across HR Functions, providing guidance and escalating complex matters to HR Leadership as appropriate.Maintain and optimize personnel files and records within HRIS(Paycom) and file management systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.Contribute to the development and delivery of employee communications related to HR programs, policies and procedures.Support the design and rollout of internal HR projects, including employee engagement, performance management, and employee initiatives.Benefits AdministrationHelp employees and benefit providers to support enrollments, qualifying events, and general inquiries.Employee Relations & ComplianceProvide day-to-day employee relations support and foster a positive workplace culture through timely and professional communication.Maintain awareness of and support compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.Assist with internal investigations, policy updates and required reporting.HR Systems & ReportingMaintain employee data and reporting within HRIS and payroll systems, including Paycom and timekeeping platformsAct as a backup for Payroll specialist when neededSupport HR metrics reporting and data analytics to inform strategic HR planning.Prepare ad Hoc reports and documentation for audits, compliance, and leadership requestsRequired QualificationsAssociate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Equivalent experience considered.5-7 years of experience in HR administration, payroll, or generalist-level support.Working knowledge of HR laws and practices, employee relations, and payroll functions.Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., Paycom), Microsoft Office Suit, and cloud-based document management (e.g., Dropbox, Docusign).High attention to detail and data accuracy.Commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and continuous improvement.Physical Requirements and Working ConditionsAbility to sit and work at a computer for extended periodsCapacity to lift and carry files or boxes up to 15lbs.Manual dexterity for data entry, filing, and documentation tasksEffective communication across phone, email, and in-person interactionsFlexibility to work outside standard hours, including some evenings or weekends as needed for Key HR priorities.Background CheckThis position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check.
