Bliss Medical Health Care Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate the needs and progress of clients seeking therapy.
- Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that reflect the client's goals and progress.
- Monitor clients' situations closely, including follow-ups that ensure treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as necessary.
- Collaborate actively with the multi-disciplinary team to enhance the overall treatment strategy and ensure cohesive care for each client.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The primary focus of this role is to assist individuals who are navigating the complex challenges associated with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. By utilizing therapeutic methodologies geared towards resolving relationship and communication issues within families and couples, you will help clients reclaim control over their lives. Your efforts will significantly contribute to their recovery journeys, promoting healthier relationships and improved individual well-being.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a closely related field.
- A valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington State, free from any suspensions or probationary periods.
- At least 2 years of leadership experience in an outpatient setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in effective therapy practices.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to create a supportive and therapeutic environment for clients.
- Proficiency in using technology for teletherapy, including familiarity with relevant software and platforms.
Preferred Experience
- Some background in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques is preferred to enhance therapeutic interventions.
- Experience working with diverse populations and adapting treatment approaches to meet varying cultural needs.
Compensation and Benefits
In this role, you will receive a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year , commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
