In the member assist – cart attendant role, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot which includes helping members with their purchases, and ensure there are carts ready and available. As a Member Assist Cart Attendant at Sam's Club, you'll be one of the first friendly faces members see and the last helping hand they experience before heading home. From gathering carts to loading purchases, your energy and helpfulness make every visit better.

In this role, you'll spend your day retrieving and organizing carts, assisting members with loading their purchases, maintaining a clean and safe parking lot, and providing friendly service that leaves a lasting impression.

What You'll Do:

• Organize and maintain availability of carts and flatbeds for members
• Assist members with transporting and loading purchases into their vehicles
• Operate cart retrieval equipment according to company policies and procedures
• Proactively identify members who need help, engage them, and provide friendly, helpful service
• Maintain parking lot cleanliness and a safe, well-kept exterior environment
• Conduct safety sweeps; follow procedures for handling merchandise; correct and report unsafe situations to management
• Properly maintain equipment and ensure carts and flatbeds are organized and stocked in the correct locations
• Promote Sam's Club products, services, and memberships throughout every interaction

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
