Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring a General Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with ARDMS certification and Epic EMR experience for a 13-week evening shift assignment. Requirements ARDMS certification required; ARDMS AB and ARDMS OB/GYN preferred BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of experience required Epic EMR experience required License required if applicable Skills in OB/GYN imaging including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester studies preferred Experience with vascular studies including Doppler, duplex, and carotid imaging Experience with pediatric abdomen, renal, and soft tissue imaging preferred Proficiency with cyst aspiration and ultrasound-guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration preferred Responsibilities Radiology/Cardiology Ultrasound department performing general sonography procedures Patient population includes adults, obstetrics, and pediatrics Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM Performs OB/GYN, fetal, pediatric, general, vascular, and small parts ultrasound studies Utilizes GE ultrasound equipment Performs routine and specialized sonography procedures of moderate complexity independently Delivers accurate diagnostic results while exercising sound clinical judgment Builds rapport with patients and families through effective communication and competent assessment May orient other staff and perform specific specialized procedures Adheres to all applicable regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient privacy and safety Accepts local candidates at the local rate within a 50-mile radius Returning staff/travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday allowed per contract Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing First-time travelers not specified as accepted or excluded Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr
