Clinical Research Associate II
ICON
Clinical Research Associate II position supporting oncology trials in a sponsor-dedicated model. The role involves site monitoring, regulatory compliance, and data management across the southeast region with up to 75% travel requirement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary liaison between investigational sites and sponsor
- Conduct site visits including selection, initiation, monitoring, and close-out activities
- Monitor patient safety and ensure timely adverse event and serious adverse event reporting
- Maintain documentation in CTMS and eTMF; resolve data queries and track compliance records
- Support subject recruitment and retention; oversee investigational drug accountability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or RN qualification
- 2+ years on-site monitoring experience in pharmaceutical or CRO industry
- Experience monitoring oncology trials, including prostate and lung cancer
- Proficiency in ICH-GCP, CTMS, and eTMF systems
- Eligible to work in United States without visa sponsorship
- Ability to travel 60-75% across southeast region; Tampa-based preferred
