Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction management or other related field required. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. At least two years’ experience in construction and/or industrial safety required. First aid and/or CPR certification preferred. Certified Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification preferred. A valid driver’s license may be required. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check. Nice to Have Experience on healthcare or other highly regulated projects such as OSHPD or HCAI. Experience leading Safety Task Analysis and Job Hazard Analysis during preconstruction planning. Experience supporting high risk activity planning and serving as a safety mentor for project teams.
