Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Travel Contract Location: Harrisburg, PA Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Day Shift Scheduled Hours: 40 Hours/Week Pay Rate: $38/hour Weekly Pay: $1,520 (Including Stipend) Weekly Stipend: $1,230 Overtime: Available after 40 hours Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week travel assignment in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients improve their ability to perform daily living and work-related activities following illness, injury, or disability. Responsibilities Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans. Provide therapeutic activities and exercises to improve patient mobility, coordination, and independence. Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care. Adhere to facility policies, safety standards, and professional guidelines. Requirements Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current BLS certification (preferred). Strong communication and patient care skills. Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, acute care, or outpatient experience preferred.
