Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Shipping Coordinator.
Shipping Coordinator Job Details
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Pay Rate : $18.00/hr
Location : Miamisburg, OH
Shipping Coordinator Requirements/Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
  
• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred.
  
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Ability to coordinate multiple shipments and meet deadlines.
  
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
  
• Proficiency using computers, email, and Microsoft Office.
  
• Experience with shipping and logistics software preferred.
  
• Familiarity with ERP, WMS, TMS, or transportation management systems is a plus.
  
• Ability to prepare and review shipping documents, labels, and bills of lading.
  
• Knowledge of ground and freight shipping procedures.
  
• Ability to verify order quantities, product information, and shipping details.
  
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a logistics team.
  
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced shipping environment.
  
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, carriers, vendors, and warehouse personnel.
  
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout a warehouse or shipping environment.
  
• Ability to lift and move packages and materials according to company safety guidelines.
  
• Ability to follow established safety procedures and transportation regulations.
  
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required.
  

• Coordinate daily shipping operations for ground and freight orders.
  
• Prepare shipping documents, labels, bills of lading, and related paperwork.
  
• Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers, freight companies, and customers.
  
• Track shipments and resolve delays, damages, or delivery issues.
  
• Verify orders, quantities, product information, and shipping details for accuracy.
  
• Enter and maintain shipping and logistics information in company systems.
  
• Communicate with customers, vendors, drivers, warehouse personnel, and internal departments.
  
• Monitor incoming and outgoing freight to ensure accurate documentation.
  
• Maintain organized shipping records, files, and workstations.
  
• Ensure shipments are properly packaged, labeled, and handled according to company requirements.
  
• Assist with freight quotes, carrier selection, and shipping cost management.
  
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to support timely order processing and shipment preparation.
  
• Identify and resolve shipping discrepancies or documentation errors.
  
• Follow company safety procedures and transportation regulations.
  
• Support the logistics team with additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.
