Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist! This full-time role offers the chance to work closely with PreK and Kindergarten students, helping them build foundational communication skills. The assignment runs from January 5th, 2027, through February 26th, 2027, with a Monday through Friday schedule, 8AM–3PM, making it a perfect fit for professionals who value consistent hours and meaningful impact.
You’ll thrive in this itinerant position, collaborating with educators and families as you travel between sites to provide high-quality speech therapy services. Your expertise will contribute directly to students’ growth in receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language skills during a pivotal stage in their development.
Qualifications:
- Valid Tennessee SLP License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience in school-based settings or with early childhood populations preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy for PreK-Kindergarten students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Provide services across multiple sites as part of the itinerant model
