Job Description

The responsibilities include labor and delivery, postpartum care, and newborn nursery management, as well as providing newborn care pre-transition.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care for laboring mothers.
• Support postpartum and newborn care in a couplet care unit.
• Administer medications and support clinical interventions as needed.
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid RN license to practice in Tennessee.
• ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in OB, Labor & Delivery, and nursery care.
