Speech Language Pathologist

We are excited to invite a passionate and patient-centered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic and collaborative team at Fusion Therapy Center in a hybrid travel position. This unique role allows you to provide speech and language therapy to children in partner daycares, preschools, and schools in the mornings, followed by afternoon sessions in our pediatric outpatient clinic. Employment Structure You’ll be hired as a W-2 employee, which means we take care of your payroll taxes and offer a full benefits package. Unlike traditional salaried roles, you’ll be compensated at a higher hourly rate for each billable hour worked, giving you the potential to earn more based on the care you provide. This model provides greater transparency, autonomy, and alignment with your clinical productivity. Typical Schedule Morning (AM): Provide speech therapy at assigned daycares, preschools, or schools. Afternoon (PM): Conduct sessions in our pediatric outpatient clinic, collaborate with the therapy team, and complete documentation. Schedules are coordinated to minimize travel time while maintaining a productive and fulfilling caseload. Travel between assigned locations is part of your workday. Benefits Competitive pay based on billable hours Travel stipend for travel between partner sites Flexible work schedule Continuing education (CEUs) covered, based on hours worked Insurance - Medical, Dental, Vision - Full-Time Staff PTO for Full-Time Staff Supportive and collaborative work environment with mentorship for new graduates Compensation And Financial Rewards Highly Competitive Hourly Pay: $53-$57 per billable hour Evaluation & Re-Evaluation Bonuses: Earn an additional $20/hour Administrative Pay: Paid admin time during patient cancellations to protect productivity 401(k) Retirement Plan: Employer-supported retirement savings Mileage Reimbursement: For miles driven Travel stipend: $20 administrative pay per day for all travel between assigned sites and the clinic Work-Life Flexibility Flexible scheduling for both field and clinic hours Supportive administrative and scheduling teams help maintain an 83-88% patient arrival rate Balanced caseload between off-site independence and in-clinic collaboration Professional Development CEU reimbursement based on hours worked 90-day mentorship and onboarding program led by experienced SLPs Career growth pathways for mentorship, leadership, and advanced clinical specialties Requirements Responsibilities Evaluate clients to assess their eligibility for speech therapy services Develop and adapt individualized treatment plans tailored to the client’s unique needs and goals Implement interventions designed to maximize gross motor skills, functional mobility, and independence Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks, breaking activities into manageable components Recommend and train clients in the use of adaptive equipment as necessary Educate family members and caregivers on exercises, techniques, and care strategies Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with clinic policies and deadlines Maintain consistent communication with clients, their families, and other team members Skills Required Proven experience as a Speech Therapist (or completion of clinical experience) Strong critical thinking skills with a flexible, growth-oriented mindset In-depth knowledge of SLP principles and practices Familiarity with speech therapy assessments and Medicaid guidelines Ability to work with diverse patient personalities and care needs Continuous drive to learn and stay current with new treatment practices Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Valid SLP license - or anticipated licensure date Master's degree or higher in speech-language pathology Bi-lingual preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
