This role is responsible for supporting meal service operations while ensuring residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and distribute meal traysAssist with meal service and resident dining needsWash dishes and operate dishwashing equipmentPrepare snacks, nourishments, and beverages as assignedMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, and workstationsSweep, mop, and clean dietary areasProperly store food, supplies, and deliveriesFollow food safety and infection control proceduresAssist cooks and dietary leadership as neededWork cooperatively with nursing staff and other departmentsMaintain a positive and resident-focused attitude throughout each shiftQualificationsPreferred Candidates Will Have:Reliable transportationMust be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience in food service, preferably in a healthcare settingCompassion for the geriatric populationStrong teamwork and communication skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentLicenses & CertificationsMust obtain and maintain a Food Handler's CertificateWe are an equal opportunity employer.
