Job Description

An Innovative School teacher embraces and models the school’s KEHILLA values— kindness, empathy, honesty, integrity, acceptance, and lifelong learning.
The Innovative School, educating children infant - 5th grade, is a Reggio-inspired school, which means that we value a learner-centered approach in our classrooms. Our educators are excited by this approach and have a passion for child development and how children learn.

- Sharing the responsibility of Lead Teachers to support learners’ growth across social, emotional, and cognitive domains.
Assistant Teachers will demonstrate openness to observation and feedback and willingness to grow as a collaborative, reflective educator.
Position designation (Assistant, Associate or Lead Teacher) is determined by a combination of skill level, experience in our program, level of education, certification, and professional goals. While Lead Teachers carry greater responsibility in curriculum development, documentation, and communication with families and support specialists, all educators are expected to contribute equitably to daily classroom responsibilities.
