Job Title: Capital Markets Associate (4th-6th Year)

Location: New York

Compensation: $260,000-$390,000+

Our client, an AM50 global law firm with a premier Capital Markets practice, is looking to add a talented 4th-6th year Capital Markets Associate to its New York team .

This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading Corporate Department and work on sophisticated public and private capital-raising transactions for major issuers, investment banks and private equity clients.

The practice handles a broad range of sophisticated transactions, including IPOs, direct listings, equity offerings, high-yield and investment-grade debt, equity-linked securities and other complex Capital Markets matters .

What you'll do:

Advise issuers, investment banks and private equity clients on sophisticated Capital Markets transactions
Work on IPOs, follow-on offerings and other equity transactions
Assist with high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings
Advise on direct listings and other innovative capital-raising transactions
Work on equity-linked securities and other complex financing solutions
Draft and negotiate transaction documentation
Advise clients on securities laws and regulatory matters
Work closely with partners and senior associates on high-value transactions
Collaborate with lawyers across a global Corporate and Capital Markets practice

What they're looking for:

4th-6th year associate
At least 2 years of Capital Markets experience
Strong experience with sophisticated securities transactions
Experience with equity and/or debt offerings
Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
Strong academic credentials
J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school
New York Bar admission
