This opportunity offers 32.5 hours per week and begins as soon as possible, extending through the end of the school year.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or classroom aide, especially in K-12 schools
• Ability to provide individualized attention to support learning and engagement
• Familiarity with implementing instructional and behavioral strategies under the direction of certified teachers
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, teachers, and support staff
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability in responding to student needs
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and supporting a positive school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Work 1:1 with an assigned student to encourage participation, focus, and independence during classroom activities
• Assist the student with academic tasks, organization, and following routines as outlined in their education plan
• Facilitate social interactions and model appropriate behaviors for peer engagement
• Provide behavioral support and intervention as directed by school staff or special education personnel
• Document daily observations and communicate progress or concerns to the educational team
• Support classroom management and help create an inclusive, nurturing learning atmosphere
