SharePoint Administrator / Developer (Secret Clearance)

mPower is seeking a highly skilled and self-sufficient SharePoint Administrator / Developer to manage, maintain, and enhance SharePoint environments across both classified and unclassified networks. This role will be responsible for the full spectrum of SharePoint technical support—system administration, development, workflow automation, troubleshooting, user support, and compliance—ensuring secure, resilient, and high-performing collaboration platforms in alignment with U.S. Fleet Forces and Naval Information Forces standards.

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration & Support

- Manage, configure, and maintain SharePoint environments (Online and On-Premises), including site collections, permissions, and security policies.

- Monitor system performance, apply updates, and implement backup/disaster recovery procedures.

- Troubleshoot issues and provide customer service support, fielding up to 50 technical requests daily with a 2-business-day resolution target.

Development & Customization

- Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint websites, subsites, and pages for internal and public-facing environments.

- Create, edit, and reverse-engineer SharePoint workflows.

- Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Power Platform) and develop automated workflows/business processes.

- Maintain the SharePoint Legacy portal and SharePoint Online (SPO) file share.

Documentation & Governance

- Develop technical documentation, SOPs, and user instructions for long-term solution supportability.

- Ensure compliance with command security protocols and Department of the Navy policies.

- Stay current with SharePoint best practices and governance guidelines from US Fleet Forces and Naval Information Forces.

Collaboration & Training

- Coordinate across client departments to establish and maintain functional sites and SPO resources.

- Prepare and deliver SharePoint briefings to leadership.

- Facilitate group training sessions on SharePoint, IT systems, and related topics.

Required Qualifications:

- Active Secret Clearance

- Bachelor’s degree in IT Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Management, or related discipline.

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with SharePoint administration, development, workflows, site customization, and security management.

- Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) required.

- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills (both verbal and written).

- Ability to work entirely on-site due to classified network requirements.
