As a tutor at StudyGo, your main tasks will be providing tutoring or guidance to high school students. This is done digitally (from home) and one-on-one or in small groups. Additionally, you will answer questions via chat and moderate the forum.

What You Will Do

• Give tutoring to students (individually or in small groups)
• Explain complex material clearly and step by step
• Help students not just with answers, but with insight and thinking steps
• Answer content-related questions via chat
• Monitor the forum, in addition to AI moderation
• Ensure the quality of explanation and guidance on the platform

Good To Know:

Tutoring forms a large part of the role. Tutoring at StudyGo is in development and is moving with new forms of guidance. There is testing with 1-on-1 coaching lessons, with more focus on learning to learn instead of just knowledge transfer. This requires flexibility and that you feel comfortable in a role that continues to change.

Job Requirements

What We Expect From You

• Student WO (mathematics/biology/geography/French)
• Excellent written and spoken command of Dutch
• Familiar with mathematics/biology/geography or willing to learn
• Demonstrable ability to explain complex concepts simply and adapt to different levels
• Declaration regarding behavior (we will request these for you)
• A safe and reliable workplace, the work is fully remote
• Pro: Experience with moderation of online communities or forums
