Village Caregiving in Rapid City, South Dakota is seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. This is a part-time, hourly healthcare/medical position where the caregiver will work independently to assist clients in their homes. The individual in this role will make a meaningful impact in the lives of those they care for, promoting independence and improving overall quality of life.

Compensation & Benefits: The In Home Caregiver position at Village Caregiving offers a competitive hourly wage of $18 to $20 per hour DOE, paid on a semi-monthly basis. This role also offers the opportunity for flexible scheduling. Additionally, the selected candidate will receive ongoing training and support as they work towards providing the highest level of care to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-home care and support to clients, including but not limited to assistance with personal hygiene, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation.
• Follow individual care plans and update as needed.
• Observe and report any changes in client's behavior or condition to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Clear background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude.
• Ability to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of personal care, hygiene, and nutrition.
