About the Job

After Hours Pediatrics Urgent Care is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Chat Support Clerk to assist with online inquiries and provide administrative support to patients and families. This remote position involves responding to chat messages, providing general information, directing inquiries to the appropriate team, and maintaining accurate communication records.

The ideal candidate is professional, patient, and comfortable communicating through digital channels. This role offers an opportunity to develop customer service, communication, and administrative skills while supporting a healthcare organization dedicated to children's well-being.

Location: United States (Remote)

Pay: $32.58 - $37.42 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming chat messages and general inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Provide accurate information about services, appointment procedures, and general administrative processes.
• Direct medical questions and urgent concerns to qualified healthcare personnel.
• Maintain organized records of customer interactions while protecting confidential information.
• Escalate complex inquiries to the appropriate department.
• Support the team with basic data entry and administrative tasks.

• Previous experience as a Chat Support Representative, Customer Support Clerk, Virtual Assistant, or Administrative Assistant.
• Experience with live chat software, help desk platforms, CRM systems, and ticket management tools.
• Familiarity with healthcare customer service, medical office administration, or appointment scheduling.
• Knowledge of patient privacy practices, including HIPAA requirements where applicable.
• Strong typing skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience handling high volumes of customer inquiries.
