Position TITLE: Field Service Technician I LOCATION: New Orleans, LA Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility NCR Voyix is looking for Field Service Technicians. Responsibilities Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively. Service electromechanical equipment like self-checkout systems within an assigned territory. Perform maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance (PM), and system overhauls. Basic Qualifications Local candidate to specific geographic area Authorized to work in the US At least 18 years of age Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting NCR fleet requirements PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with hardware and operating systems Ability to perform essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day Rotating and weekend shifts; flexible shift work with morning, afternoon, and evening start times including some holidays Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment up to 75 lbs without assistance, up to 150 lbs with assistance Physical capabilities including bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and repetitive manual tasks Willingness to be trained on and operate small-scale scissor lifts in retail environments to service or replace networking equipment Preferred Qualifications (not required) Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software A+ Certification, CompTIA Network+ Certification One or more years of related experience Equal Employment Opportunity Integrated into our shared values is NCR Voyix’s commitment to equal employment opportunity.
