Join our crew specializing in framing new single-family homes, custom homes, and mixed residential projects. The Carpenter/Framer will work under the direction of the lead carpenter or general contractor, assisting with assigned tasks and completing framing sections independently. This position starts at 7:00 AM, typically involves 9–10-hour workdays, and requires working outdoors in weather-permitting conditions. We are looking for someone willing to learn, dependable, punctual, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining a positive attitude.

 

Responsibilities

• Measure materials accurately for framing projects.
• Cut wood and other framing materials to specification.
• Frame walls, floors, and roofs for residential construction.
• Install sheathing according to project requirements.
• Complete assigned framing tasks and framing sections independently.
• Maintain hand tools and power tools.
• Coordinate effectively with the crew, lead carpenter, and general contractor.
• Keep the jobsite clean and organized.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in residential framing.
• Knowledge of residential framing practices.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Physical stamina for outdoor construction work.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Punctuality and reliability.
