Responsibilities Direct and oversee the organization’s accounting and financial reporting functions. Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Prepare and review accurate financial statements and management reports. Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and reconciliations. Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors. Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections. Provide financial analysis and insight to senior leadership to support organizational decision-making. Prepare financial reports and presentations for the Board and leadership team. Establish and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and nonprofit reporting requirements. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to accounting staff. Participate in strategic initiatives and special projects across the organization. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience. Prior Controller or senior-level accounting experience preferred. Nonprofit accounting experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with executives and Board members. Ability to balance hands-on accounting responsibilities with strategic financial oversight. CPA designation or CPA-track experience is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
