Now hiring Financial Analyst & Controller Location Plano, TX Pay Rate: $36.00 – $40.00 per hour Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

7 years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience

Experience managing full-cycle accounting operations

Strong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance

Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and financial modeling

Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems

CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred

Manufacturing, industrial, or job-shop experience strongly preferred

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate financial data to non-financial teams
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activity, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and banking activities
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Support audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting
• Develop budgets, forecasts, variance reports, and financial analysis
• Analyze manufacturing costs, margins, labor, materials, and overhead expenses
• Provide recommendations on pricing, profitability, capital investments, and cost savings
• Maintain internal financial controls and accounting procedures
• Prepare management reports and present financial insights to leadership
• Support vendor analysis, contract reviews, and lease vs. buy evaluations
