What you will do: In this role, you’ll play a major role in creating memorable moments for business travelers and families on vacation. After a busy day at work or play, our guests will be able to rest easily knowing that we will take care of the rest. We offer cleaner rooms than our competition and the extras don’t cost extra. As an essential team member at Drury Hotels, you will work on a team with other friendly customer focused team members completing daily duties such as vacuuming, changing linens and making our bathrooms shine. Compensation Competitive starting hourly pay Quarterly bonuses up to $3,200/year based on hotel results. At Drury, we succeed together! Requirements No previous cleaning experience required. Requires knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school. Responsibilities and expectations Maintain a clean and positive environment for guests and team members. Ensure exceptional experiences for guests and team members. Perform various hotel cleaning services to keep rooms clean according to standards. Visually inspect rooms to identify maintenance needs. Assist guests by providing linen, towels, toiletries, or information as requested. Provide friendly and courteous service with a Service +1 attitude. Ability to work Saturday and Sunday; weekends may be required during peak times. General knowledge, skills, and abilities Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and supplies. Ability to work without direct supervision. Provide excellent customer service. Physical and mental requirements Walk and stand for the duration of shift. Push, vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend as part of daily tasks. Lift 25–35 pounds intermittently during the shift.
