Landscape Maintenance Crew LeaderThe Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader is responsible to manage crew members in a professional manner ensuring that all assignments are completed to Piscataqua standards. In addition, the goal of meeting estimated hours and exceeding client's expectations is expected.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintains a consistent and positive attendance patternOperate all equipment in a safe, practical and productive mannerTrack and record all labor and equipment hours and material on a daily basisWork with the maintenance staff to ensure equipment is in safe working orderConduct daily equipment checks and maintenance include installing sharp bladesProvide clear direction and train crew members in proper procedures to execute their jobs and duties, when neededMow lawns evenly maintaining "clean, straight" lines and removing all lawn clippings when necessaryEnsure all beds, sidewalks and parking lots are free of any lawn and leaf debrisOff load any debris on a daily basis in the designated areasCoach, motivate and lead crews improving morale and productivityOperate up to and including a 1 ton truck with or without a trailerOperate zero turn lawn mowersOperate weed whips, back pack and wheel blowers, leaf vacuumsLift 50 lbs., maneuver fully loaded wheel barrelsResponsible for the actions and work performed by their crewsCompletes a minimum of 12 hours of ongoing education, through an approved PL&TS training programAdditional DutiesInvolvement with snow removal during winter hours in whatever capacity requiredAbility to identify (scout) for pests and diseases at properties and communicate findings to the Account Manager and/or Field Supervisor.Ensure that all equipment in vehicles is secured properly during transportWork Spring and Fall cleanups as neededAdditional duties as assignedBenefitsHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacations and holidaysEarned Paid Leave and Paid Time OffEmployee development opportunities available... and more!*Candidates must have an insurable driving record, be able to pass a physical, drug screen, and obtain a DOT Medical Card*Piscataqua Landscaping & Tree Service is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
