Restaurant General Manager

As the restaurant general manager, you are the #1 leader! Your leadership of one of the world’s largest brands is a big responsibility but with your KFC Family supporting you; you can reach higher than you ever imagined!Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:Ownership of your restaurant’s success metrics and lead restaurant team to reach goalsLead the guest experiences in your restaurant that includes friendly interactions, a clean restaurant and fresh mealsGrow and mentor your KFC family through training, development and onboarding new team membersLead communications of your team’s goals, upcoming promotions, business updates, etcInspire the overall positive and collaborative family environmentPartner with other Restaurant General Managers and Area Leaders to grow and move the business forwardReviewing and submitting payrollCompleting employee new hire paperworkCompleting employee change forms and termination formsGrow and mentor your KFC family through training, development and onboarding new team membersEnsure the store is operated in a safe and clean manner at all timesEnsure work schedules are adequate to meet customer service requirements but are also cost effectiveEnsure that the store is operated in compliance with Company policies and proceduresDaily record keeping of the store financial and production activitiesMaintaining documentation as specified by their Area Coach, Director of Operations and Human Resources.Success Factors:Leads by example with high standards in customer service, food quality and cleanlinessTrue business partner and has an ownership mindset relating to business resultsMentors and coaches team effectively through training and development resourcesBuilds a team through selecting and onboarding new hiresTakes absolute pride in everything you doGoal-oriented leader that enjoys a fast-paced environmentDeep appreciation and commitment to customer service and our guest’s experiencePunctual attendanceA smile and enthusiasm are requiredSome heavy lifting may be required (range 25-85 pounds)Extended standingHearing in normal range must be present due to auditory alarms for some cooking equipmentCash handling and counting may be requiredReading of menus, manuals and training aids requiredManual dexterity in packing food containers and cleaningAbility to work with others in somewhat confined spaceMaintaining safety around high temperature equipment, boiling water and hot shorteningCapable of maintaining the confidentiality of Company operating procedures and operating resultsAdditional Info:If you need assistance in the application or hiring process to accommodate a disability, you may request an accommodation any time by contacting the location nearest you.This job posting is for a position in a restaurant that is independently owned and operated by a KFC franchisee.
