Substitute Nurse

Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect care to students in compliance with school district policies, professional standards of practice, physician orders and individual health plans. Maintain health records and complete appropriate documentation. Collaborate with teachers and administrators to ensure effective daily health supervision of all students. Assure that all immunization and physicals are up to date per School district policy for admittance to school. Work with and supervise Medical Assistant and delegate per NH state rules and regulations. Function in accordance with the NH Practice Act, Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses, and the School District Policies and Procedures. Daily Rate $200.00 per day. Requirements Current NH RN license. Pediatric experience and school experience preferred. Application Process As part of the SAU 39 Substitute Application process, applicants will interview with a building administrator at one of our five schools. If an applicant has a preference as to which school they would like to substitute at, we will coordinate an interview with that building administrator. The goal of SAU 39 is to meet and qualify the applicants who apply to be on the substitute list for SAU 39, to value the importance of having a conversation to explore position expectations and the role the teacher plays in student learning outcomes for the day. This meeting also provides the applicant with a tour of the school in which they are interested in working at and to address any questions or concerns to ensure that being a substitute would be a good fit at a particular building. #J-18808-Ljbffr
