Crawford, VA for our client, a commercial HVAC/mechanical contractor supporting service and installation operations. This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional who can build strong teams, improve day-to-day operations, manage resources, and help deliver safe, efficient, high-quality work.The HVAC Operations Manager will provide leadership across HVAC operations while working closely with supervisors, technicians, dispatch, sales, and support teams. The right candidate will bring strong commercial HVAC knowledge, practical leadership experience, and the ability to balance people, customer service, productivity, and financial performance.What You'll DoLead daily commercial HVAC service and/or installation operations.Coach and develop supervisors and technicians through clear expectations, accountability, training, and support.Promote safety practices, OSHA compliance, toolbox talks, and near-miss reporting.Coordinate manpower, schedules, equipment, and other resources with internal teams.Manage labor efficiency, manpower planning, scheduling, and overtime.Oversee maintenance agreements, time-and-material work, and projects.Monitor estimating, costing, documentation, billing preparation, progress billing, cash flow, collections support, and performance reporting.Visit job sites to review safety, quality, progress, and project scope.Address customer concerns professionally and identify practical solutions.Drive process improvements that increase operational efficiency, quality, and profitability.What You BringAt least 7 years of HVAC experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility.Strong commercial HVAC service and/or installation knowledge.Proven ability to lead teams and manage operational resources.Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Proficiency with service-management software and Microsoft Office.EPA certification and/or an HVAC trade license preferred.OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check.Ability to provide occasional after-hours support and travel to job sites as needed.Why It's Worth ItCompetitive compensation.Comprehensive benefits package.Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.Short-term and long-term disability insurance, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, FSA options, HSA, and Employee Assistance Program.401(k) plan with Roth option and pet insurance.Annual bonus plus generous vacation, holiday, and sick time.Apprenticeship opportunities with a pathway to licensure.Scholarship program for employees' children.Employee referral incentives and discounts through participating companies.Company mobile phone and/or tablet when necessary for the position.Vehicle assistance and company uniforms based on position requirements.Growth and professional development opportunities.Location & ScheduleThis position is based in Mt. Crawford, VA, with travel to job sites as necessary.
