RN - MS Tele

Registered NurseWe are seeking a registered nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry. The position will require working night shifts. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to adult and geriatric patients. Patient-to-nurse ratios are expected to be 1:6. The nurse will float between units as required by patient census. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. Experience with charting in a computerized documentation system is required. Preferred experience includes working in critical access and community hospitals. Travel experience is a plus. Key skills necessary for this position include managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care and management, chest tube management, continuous bladder irrigation, feeding tube care and management, high flow nasal cannula administration, interpretation of arterial blood gases, management of dysrhythmias, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, peripheral line care and management, starting and maintaining IVs, and wound care and management. The nurse will work within an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with various support services. Weekly scheduling will include a minimum of every other weekend.
