Position: Registered Dental Hygienist.

Our team is committed to fostering healthy smiles and building lasting relationships with our patients. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing team on a part time basis.

Job Summary:
The Dental Hygienist will provide high-quality preventive dental care, including cleanings, patient education, oral cancer screenings and oral health assessments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, personable, and passionate about promoting oral health, and is a team player.

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing as needed.
• Conduct oral health assessments, including screening for cavities, gum disease, and oral cancer.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
• Apply sealants and fluoride treatments as necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatments.
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.
• Stay updated on best practices and advancements in dental hygiene.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
• Valid state Dental Hygienist license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Proficiency with open dental software and digital X-ray systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to patient care and teamwork.

*** We do have a full time sterile tech who is currently actively helping our full time hygienist with Perio charting, equipment sterilization, taking radiographs, seating patients, taking vitals, polishing and flossing teeth as needed. Sterile tech will be available for you as well if you decided to have additional help.

Schedule: Flexible. 1 to 3 days either full days of mornings or afternoons.
