CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST II

BYG-1 ILS Configuration Management Specialist IIMikel is currently looking for an experienced Configuration Management II to support our AN/BYG-1 Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Team.Duties:Support the AN/BYG-1 Media Delivery Team in any tasks required including:Prepare transmittal paperwork for shipmentsUpload receipts and file electronicallyTrack deliveries to ensure shipments have/had been receivedReview transmittals and shipments to ensure a quality productHandling and storage of classified and unclassified materialBITs database trackingAlfresco database (where documentation is found)Follow up with Squadrons to confirm deliveries and notifications via phone calls/emails.Work closely with Division Heads to ensure their availability for signature of approval for all deliveriesWork closely with Installation Team Leads to determine installation requirementsOther tasks as assigned associated with BYG-1 media shipment/movementMedia duplication efforts for support with fleet installation mediaRequired Skills:Effective communication, both verbal and writtenTeam playerGood organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a team environmentStrong time management skillsExperience in MS Office including Word, Excel and OutlookCurrent DoD SECRET ClearanceHigh School DiplomaPreferred Experience:Database experience: NTIRA, AIMTC, BITsMinimum 5 years' experience with logistics/CM at NUWCDrafting and submitting DD-1149s for shipmentsExperience with Classified shipmentsAssociate and/or Bachelor degreeWork Location – NUWC on-site.MIKEL offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), 401k Retirement Plan, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Tuition Reimbursement.Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance or higher is required at time of hire.
