Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 18 months of recent experience and active Epic proficiency on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Epic EMR experience required
• Holiday coverage required, with travelers expected to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained prior to start
• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Telemetry required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required
• Travelers may not work more than 18 consecutive months across any assignments at this health system, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before returning to any location within the health system
