RN - ICU

Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical ICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 3x12 hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical ICU. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and experience in critical care nursing. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment and must be comfortable working with high-acuity patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Manage patient care plans and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and interpret patient data to assess patient needs.
• Assist in procedures and manage complex patient care equipment.
• Implement infection prevention strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is necessary.
• Previous experience in Trauma Level I or II facilities preferred.
• Travel experience is preferred.
