As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Coordinator in Rochester, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will provide a welcoming presence while monitoring access, greeting visitors, managing visitor procedures, and communicating security-related concerns. You will help maintain an orderly environment through attentive observation, professional service, and clear communication. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment, following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, manage visitor sign-in processes, and communicate arrival information to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor front desk access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident documentation while providing clear communication and professional support to clients and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
