Occupational Therapist School Setting in Tacoma, WA

This contract opportunity covers the remainder of the school year and focuses on enabling student success across a diverse school community.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current Washington OT license
• ESA certification (required for school-based positions)
• Experience in a school-based setting is advantageous but not required
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Commitment to empowering students through individualized support

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to tailor interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings and ensure written documentation is thorough and up to date
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that supports student growth and well-being

This position offers full-time hours (35-40 per week) and the chance to be onsite in a dynamic school setting. You'll have resources and support dedicated to your success throughout the assignment.
