Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Night Shift

Location: Hoquiam, WA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours a week with the opportunity to pick up extra shifts.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency nursing, have the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and hold the necessary certifications for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform nursing assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient information accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current Washington State RN license or Multi-state license.
• Completion of approved 6-hour suicide training.
• Verification of demographics from Nursys.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience as an Emergency Department nurse.
• Knowledge of Meditech is helpful but not required.
• Must be a team player.
