Position Summary At Elmington Property Management, we do things a little differently. Responsibilities Provide exemplary customer service to all residents, proactively solving issues, and creating a warm and welcoming environment. Abide by federal fair housing standards and all other applicable laws. Develop professional skills, seeking continual growth and learning from mistakes. Embodies company policies and procedures in all interactions. Present a professional image and effectively represent the company to residents, vendors, and owners alike. Operate computers and other technological devices on site. Represent the community on the phone and in written communication. Greets residents, cleans and maintains a neat office, and serves as a point of contact. Complete prospective resident tours, showcasing the property with pride. Resolve issues in a timely manner with a focus on customer service. Respond to issues outside of normal work schedule when required to ensure the safety and satisfaction of residents. Drive property performance by participating in resident events, marketing the property, and focusing on resident retention. Perform all other duties, as assigned. Required Experience and Education One year of multi-family property management experience preferred. Previous leasing experience preferred. Customer experience specialists or related fields encouraged to apply. Previous experience working with a team to meet success. Physical Demands and Work Environment Frequently sit, stand and walk. Regularly required to talk or hear. Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary.
