• Perform structural welding using SMAW (Stick) welding with 7018 rod
• Weld and install columns, beams, joists, decking, and structural components
• Install handrails, stairs, guardrails, and miscellaneous metals
• Read blueprints and structural drawings
• Assist with rigging, signaling, and steel placement
• Operate aerial lifts and jobsite equipment as needed
• Work safely at heights and on active construction sites
• Travel locally between project sites

• 3+ years of structural steel welding experience
• AWS D1.1 certification preferred
• Strong SMAW (Stick) welding skills
• Experience with structural steel erection and installation
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
• Comfortable working at heights
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• FCAW welding experience
• Experience with commercial or industrial construction
• Crane signaling and rigging experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ramsey, MN.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
