Position Overview and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional, patient-focused care tailored to the specific needs of the department, adhering to the standards of practice relevant to their state and specialty. Working alongside medical professionals and other members of the healthcare team, the RN provides personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care utilizing established nursing frameworks such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes, thereby contributing to the overall success of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in status.
• Carry out procedures, monitoring, and other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring timely and thorough documentation in patient medical records.
• Deliver outstanding care by responding swiftly to patient requests and proactively anticipating their needs.
• Enhance care quality by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop, assess, customize, and implement a holistic treatment plan that fosters recovery.
• Facilitate continuity of care by acting as a liaison between healthcare providers and community support systems for specialized patient groups.

Required Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training must be completed within 90 days of starting employment
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Diploma in Nursing

• No travel is required for this position
• A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required
