Emergency Department Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7PM - 7AM, with rotating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong clinical background and exceptional communication skills, ensuring patient safety and efficient care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to medical staff.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an Emergency Department.
• Active Texas RN License (temporary license will not be accepted).
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC certifications.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
