Senior Services Project Manager - Chemistry

Job Description Summary The Project Manager – Chemistry Services is responsible for managing assigned projects across inquiry‑to‑order (ITO) development, order‑to‑remittance (OTR) fulfillment, and the entire project lifecycle including safety, quality, engineering, hardware, tooling, production, and schedule compliance. The role reports to the Product Line Leader, Chemistry Services and oversees fleet‑wide modifications for Hydrogen Water Chemistry, OLNC, and Zinc systems. Roles and Responsibilities Oversee and manage project engineering, procurement, QC, financials, staffing, and training prior to site implementation. Maintain relationships and communicate effectively with multiple levels of the customer organization on commercial, technical, and compliance matters. Plan projects, forecast risks, resolve conflicts, and manage the project team. Coordinate and supervise GVH and contingent workers performing engineering and related activities for project delivery. Participate in key design reviews, tooling and hardware shakedowns, training, and qualifications. Set a tone of integrity, compliance, safety, and continuous improvement within the organization. Ensure customer satisfaction and meet or exceed project financial targets. Provide field execution and leadership. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university with a minimum of 8 years of relevant technical experience, OR high school diploma with 12 years of relevant experience. Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Industry work experience. Minimum 1 year of Project Management experience. Minimum 1 year of engineering problem‑solving and facilitating resolution between diverse groups. Minimum 1 year of experience with proposals, pricing, and billing practices. Eligibility Requirements Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time as required by business needs. Ability to obtain unescorted access to Nuclear Plants. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb 10 flights of stairs twice per day, and climb ladders. Pass respirator fit test, physical, and Fitness‑for‑Duty requirements. Desired Characteristics Proven ability to manage complex projects. Knowledge of BWR vessel internal hardware and nuclear industry safety culture, products, and services. Experience with contracting issues associated with technical projects and with nuclear plant outages/services. Open communication style and ability to develop team relationships, including vendors and global teams. Strong grasp of reactor water chemistry and design processes balanced with field delivery complexities. Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and work relationships. Rapid problem identification and contribution to prompt resolution. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and GVH ITO/OTR systems (e.g., Primavera P6, PLM, Oracle, iProGEct, Tableau, SharePoint). Background in technical writing. Location & Travel The position is a home‑office role based in Wilmington, NC, with travel as necessary to support customer discussions, technical scope definition, vendor oversight, and training.
