Job Description

This role focuses on the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of Rolls-Royce M250 Series II, IV, and RR300 engines, modules, and accessories in a modern maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) environment. The Engine Technician performs hands-on engine overhauls, repairs, inspections, troubleshooting, and general maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and strict company quality standards. The position requires strong technical ability, meticulous attention to detail, and a consistent commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of M250 Series II, IV, and RR300 engines and modules in accordance with approved procedures.
• Troubleshoot engine malfunctions, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate repairs or component replacements.
• Clean engine components using approved processes, chemicals, and equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools, accurately interpret results, and determine serviceability of components.
• Record and document all work performed in compliance with FAA regulations and internal company requirements.
• Verify that all parts and components meet airworthiness and serviceability standards before installation or release.
• Use OEM manuals, service bulletins, and engineering drawings to plan, guide, and execute maintenance and overhaul procedures.
• Participate in engine testing and performance validation activities as required to ensure engines meet operational specifications.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement.
• Assist in mentoring and training junior technicians by sharing knowledge, demonstrating proper techniques, and reinforcing best practices.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, track parts usage, and report any shortages or discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with all safety and housekeeping standards.
• Work overtime as needed to meet operational and customer requirements.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Rolls-Royce M250 Series II, IV, and RR300 engines.
• Advanced technical knowledge in turbine engine disassembly, inspection, troubleshooting, and reassembly.
• Strong understanding of FAA regulatory compliance, documentation requirements, and airworthiness standards.
• Proven experience in repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of aircraft engines and turbine engine systems.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail in all aspects of engine maintenance.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage tasks efficiently.
• FAA Powerplant Certificate preferred
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and interpret dimensional inspection results.
• Capability to follow OEM manuals, service bulletins, and engineering drawings accurately.

Work Environment

This position is based in an indoor, air-conditioned facility designed for engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul work. The role operates on a first shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime available as needed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mesa, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
