Patient Account Representative III

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Billing Management, this position is responsible for the oversight of the complete revenue cycle for assigned categories, ensuring that the days in accounts receivable stay within set guidelines.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent education required

2. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the medical/dental field required

3. Knowledge and experience working AR with third party insurance and FQHC billing and follow up preferred

4. Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 required

5. Proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required

6. Experience in Electronic Practice Management/Medical Records system required (Nextgen preferred)
